I was a student cultivated by the traditional education system and a senior student in high school, but it did not affect my pursuit of art. I did not have access to appropriate and systematic learning of art because of busy schoolwork. However, I could paint pictures in my mind without limitation and simply express my own emotions. Hence, art is the best carrier to express one’s emotion, while emotion is also the inspiration of creation.
In my work <Translucent>, the concept comes from the sense of light transmission of plants beneath the illumination of light. I hope to highlight the semi- translucent texture, so I used transparent UV resin to shape the three necklaces. At the same time, I added bright colour from a special liquid resin. The <New self> is a series that I made to emphasize the breakthrough moment, which is also the reason why I adopted the mirror pieces by resin to fix the mirror and to make a desired state without affecting the reflection of the mirror.
The final collection <Grandmother> is the most personalized project in my portfolio. The concept of my creation is to cherish the memory of my grandmother who has passed away for ten years, which is also a record of happy memories of my childhood with my grandmother. Therefore, I chose photos as the raw material to make my work intuitive and clear. Moreover, the embroidery technique also shows my respect to her, because it was her hobby.
The uniqueness of every single contemporary jewellery is the maker’s personality. In such circumstance, jewellery can be a form of memorizing, narrative and self-expression. It has much more shape and space to comfort the maker’s soul and look for bosom friend.

我是一名中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)教育體系培養(yǎng)的學(xué)生,是今年高三的應(yīng)屆畢業(yè)生,但這完全不影響我對(duì)藝術(shù)的追求。小時(shí)候?qū)W習(xí)的彩鉛畫(huà)讓我對(duì)色彩的認(rèn)知有了一個(gè)初步的框架,因?yàn)檎n業(yè)的關(guān)系我的中學(xué)時(shí)期并沒(méi)有繼續(xù)堅(jiān)持學(xué)習(xí)美術(shù),但正是因?yàn)闆](méi)有接觸中規(guī)中矩的系統(tǒng)性學(xué)習(xí),讓我可以毫無(wú)顧忌的去畫(huà)我心中的畫(huà)面,不用考慮各種畫(huà)畫(huà)技法,只是單純的感受自己的情緒就足夠。所以藝術(shù)是表達(dá)情感的最好載體;情感是藝術(shù)創(chuàng)作的靈感來(lái)源。
在我的作品“Translucent”中,我的概念來(lái)源于花朵在燈光照耀下的半透明質(zhì)感。我希望突出作品的半透明質(zhì)感,所以用透明的UV膠來(lái)弱化項(xiàng)鏈的整體形狀,從而突出材料(造花液)的半透明感和鮮艷的顏色。以及在作品“New self”中,我想突出表現(xiàn)突破自我的瞬間,所以我使用UV膠連接鏡子碎塊,透明的UV膠在不影響鏡子反光的前提下很好的將鏡子固定成了我想要的狀態(tài)。
關(guān)于“Grandmother”這一系列作品,是我這本作品集中最個(gè)人的項(xiàng)目。該項(xiàng)目意在懷念我已經(jīng)去世十周年的外婆,也是對(duì)我童年與外婆快樂(lè)回憶的記錄,所以我選擇了很直觀的照片做為原材料來(lái)使作品直觀又清晰。并且在創(chuàng)作方式上選擇了外婆最擅長(zhǎng)的刺繡。
每一件當(dāng)代首飾的獨(dú)特之處在于其創(chuàng)作者的個(gè)性。在這個(gè)領(lǐng)域,首飾可以是記憶、故事和自省的一種形式。它有更大的形態(tài)和空間來(lái)?yè)嵛坑^眾的心靈,以尋找共鳴者。
